Pubblichiamo con piacere questo importante appello di Evelyne Zedan augurandoci che in numerosi vogliate accoglierlo, dando una possibilità- anche con una piccola ma preziosa donazione- a questa realtà che da anni opera nel nostro territorio e che ha definito come propria missione il recupero di equidi - principalmente anziani - vittime di maltrattamento, adoperandosi per offrire loro una nuova casa, cure adeguate e affetto.
Chiedo il vostro aiuto - Rifugio del Cavallo (ONLUS), Montereale V.C. (PN)
La nostra filosofia consiste nel dare al cavallo che arriva da noi una "SECONDA Possibilità ", avendo in passato dato tanto e forse di più di quello che poteva.
Il tutto si svolge in un ambiente privo di stress con tanta passione, ma soprattutto con i valori ed il rispetto per ogni essere vivente!
Ma tutto questo ha un costo, e molto alto. I cavalli anziani e i cavalli arrivati al rifugio, spezzati nel corpo e nello spirito, a causa di un sistema che li vede come oggetti da sfruttare sinché è possibile e da gettare poi, quando li si considera inutili, hanno bisogno di molte cure e trattamenti quotidiani.
Nonostante le tante attenzioni, e una lucida consapevolezza che le nostre piccole forze non ci permettono di "salvare tutti", senza che ne risenta la qualità di vita dei cavalli che sono ospiti del rifugio da diverso tempo, la crisi non ci ha risparmiati, con conseguenze molto pesanti. Ad aggravare la situazioni una mia lombo sciatalgia - in corso da gennaio - che mi impedisce di essere totalmente operativa, di organizzare e gestire corsi, banchetti ed altre attività per creare fondi. La maggiorparte del mio tempo, dopo aver accudito gli animali, lo trascorro in orizzontale nel divano con anti- dolorifici.
In questo momento il Rifugio si trova in GRAVE difficoltà.
Chiedo il vostro aiuto, potete aiutarci in tanti modi, anche una semplice condivisione, su FB o altro "social network", sarà preziosa.
In Germania si dice: "tante galline fanno un gran mucchio di merda", tante PICCOLE donazione fanno una GRANDE differenza al Rifugio !!!

The Horse Rescue Shelter EZ's Place is in serious financial trouble
therefore I am asking for your help !
Our philosophy is to give every horse that arrives at our shelter a
"SECOND CHANCE" since in the past they gave as much and often more than they could.
This all takes place in a stress free environment that values respect for all sentient beings.
But all this is costly, very costly. The horses that arrive at our sanctuary
are often broken in body and spirit, victims of a system that views them as
disposable commodities to be discarded when no longer of use.
Their rehabilitation requires constant and daily care.
The current financial crisis in Italy has hit us hard and donations have plummeted.
In addition, since January I've been plagued by serious lumbar sciatica and
unable to carry out all the myriad activities involved in running the shelter
which in addition caring for the animals entails fundraising activities such as
organizing courses and arranging for our participation at local fairs.
After caring for the horses much of my time is spent horizontal on the couch
waiting for pain meds to kick in.
I'm asking for your help, even a simple sharing on FB
or other social network would be a great help.

at antique and flea markets. (for example Aviano, first Sunday of the month).
